CONTEST RULESThe FamWii Guy Watch & Win contest begins on April 28th and ends May 30th, 2008. The Sweepstakes is sponsored by MORE-TV32, 7201 E. Hillsborough Ave., Tampa, FL 33610-4126.
No purchase necessary. A purchase or payment of any kind will not increase your chances of winning. Must be 18 or older to enter. Void where prohibited. All federal, state and local regulations apply.
How to Enter: During one segment of "Family Guy" which airs weekdays from 6PM - 6:30PM, WMOR-TV will direct contestants when to log onto MORETV32.COM or 813-740-3206 contest telephone line, and register with the name of the character of the day. The odds of winning depend on the number of submissions each day. Limited to one entry per day, per household.
How to Watch & Win: Watch "Family Guy" on MORE-TV32 from 6:00pm to 6:30pm, Monday thru Friday, starting the week of April 28, 2008 thru the week ending May 30, 2008. Contestants must look for the character of the day that will be revealed over show video. A website address and telephone number will be displayed on the television screen with a "log on now" or "call now" message and contest logo. The viewer will have 32 minutes to log-on and register for the day. They must identify correctly the character of the day in order to qualify for a random drawing.
Each week a winner will be drawn at random from qualifying entries received at MORETV32.COM. or 813-740-3200. The name of the winning contestant will be posted on MORETV32.COM the following week. Before a prize is awarded, winners will be required to furnish legal picture identification and proof of age when they claim their prize, such as a driver's license. All prizewinners must meet the Eligibility and Prize Redemption/Claim/Releases requirements outlined herein.
Prize Values: 5 winners will each receive a Wii Gaming System and Sports bundle. Each prize package is valued at approximately $400.
WMOR-TV assumes no liability or responsibility neither in connection with the use of any prize awarded hereunder nor in connection with any warranty of representation therewith.
Prize Redemption/Claim/Releases: One winner per household. One winner per family. Prizes must be claimed on a specific date to be determined by WMOR-TV. Unclaimed prizes will be forfeited after 30 days. Winners must complete a signed affidavit of eligibility and liability/publicity release. To meet Federal Tax Regulations, all winners must provide their social security number and are responsible for all taxes associated with prizes. Prizes are considered income and taxes on all prizes are the sole responsibility of the prizewinner. Compliance with all applicable federal and state laws, rules and regulations are the sole responsibility of the prizewinner. The prizewinner, by acceptance of a prize, agrees to release WMOR-TV, Hearst-Argyle Television, Inc., it parents, subsidiaries, affiliated companies, sponsors, advertising and promotion agencies, their immediate families, successors and assigns from any and all liability for claims, actions or proceedings for injuries or damages sustained in connection with the receipt, ownership or use of the prize or while traveling to, preparing for or participating in any sweepstakes-related activity. By entering the sweepstakes and winning a prize, contestants grant WMOR-TV, Hearst-Argyle Television, Inc., its parents, subsidiaries, affiliated companies, sponsors, advertising and promotion agencies, the right to use and publicize their name, photograph, voice or likeness and have accepted and agreed to be bound by these rules.
Eligibility: Winners must be 18 years of age or older. Contest open to US residents only. Employees of WMOR-TV, Hearst-Argyle Television, Inc., its parents, subsidiaries, affiliated companies, sponsors, advertising and promotion agencies, judging agencies and their immediate families (spouses and children) are not eligible to participate. Each contestant can only be a Weekly Prizewinner once during the sweepstakes. Pre-verified (by phone) winners will be required to furnish legal picture identification and proof of age when they claim their prize. WMOR-TV reserves the right to disqualify any contestant if the sweepstakes rules are violated. WMOR-TV judgment as to such matters shall be final. No substitutions of prizes or transfer of prizes to a third party is permitted. No groups, clubs or organizations may participate in this sweepstakes or reproduce or distribute any portion of these rules to its members.
Liability: WMOR-TV, Hearst-Argyle Television, Inc., its parents, subsidiaries, affiliated companies, sponsors, advertising and promotion agencies, are not responsible for:
1) Problems associated with television transmission, radio transmission, cable transmission, phone lines, or the phone number for this sweepstakes that are beyond the control of WMOR-TV during the playing of the sweepstakes.
2) Typographical errors in any printed materials relating to the sweepstakes.
3) If any WMOR-TV and Family Guy broadcast is pre-empted because of a special report or other special programming, entries will be included from the other contest days. WMOR-TV is the primary sponsor of FamWii Guy. All decisions made by the management of WMOR-TV are final. 4) WMOR-TV is not responsible for failures of computer hardware, software, internet, transmission or similar systems. Any attempt by an entrant to tamper with the proper administration of the contest, employing computer programming viruses or bugs, will disqualify the entrant and may result in the discontinuation of the contest.
